Gold Sponsor Ying De supports Connected Investing organised by UKBAA and Innovate UK

Ying De is proud to be the Gold Sponsor of Connected Investing, the regional events organised by UKBAA, the trade body for early stage investing, in partnership with Innovate UK, part of government-funded UK Research and Innovation.

The focus will be on educating and inspiring both early stage investors and the investee companies they back.  According to the UKBAA, “the event will feature the latest updates from newly emerging funds, including the British Business Investments £100m fund and Innovate UK’s regional angel investment accelerator”.

Kicking off at Manchester Science Park on 16 May 2019, David Johnson, our Head of Business Development (Manchester) will be sharing the stage with other expert speakers including Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank, DSW Angels and Amadeus. 

Moderated by Jenny Tooth OBE, CEO of UKBAA, the panel will be discussing the funding mix available early on in a business lifecycle.  In particular, David will shed light on how Chinese businesses and entrepreneurs can also offer invaluable business networks and skills besides funding to early stage companies focusing on the Chinese market.
